Who we are
Sinospect Industrial Company Limited (“Sinospect”) is a Hong Kong company operating sinospect.com. For anything in this policy, contact jk@sinospect.com or write to our registered office, 17/F, Siu Ying Commercial Building, 151-155 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong.
What we collect
Only what you give us and the minimum needed to run the site: contact and inquiry details you submit through our forms (name, email, company, phone, your message); inventor consult applications, including any files you choose to upload; email addresses submitted to receive guides; correspondence with us; and, with your permission, technical data collected by our analytics (pages visited, approximate location at city level, device type, and the campaign or search that brought you here).
How we use it
To answer your inquiry, assess and deliver the services you ask about, send you material you explicitly requested, and understand which pages and campaigns bring visitors so we can improve the site. We do not sell personal data, and we do not send marketing email you did not ask for.
Cookies and analytics
Optional analytics and advertising measurement stay off until you accept them, wherever you visit from. Analytics permits Google Analytics and storage of website acquisition information. Advertising measurement permits Google Ads conversion measurement and advertising click identifiers; personalised advertising and Google Signals remain disabled. You can accept or reject optional measurement with equal ease, choose categories separately, and change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. A recognised Global Privacy Control signal keeps advertising measurement off. Necessary language, privacy-choice and form-reliability storage remains available when you reject optional measurement. Your privacy choice is remembered for up to six months. Attribution is stored only after permission and lasts for the browser tab session. Withdrawing permission clears the relevant accessible first-party measurement cookies and optional attribution. If tracking has already loaded, saving a withdrawal reloads the page; send an unfinished inquiry first. The old Google tag may send a consent-status request during that reload. No optional Google tag loads in the resulting rejected state. Withdrawal affects future collection, not data already received. Contact us about access or deletion of information already held.
Where your data lives and who processes it
Form submissions are stored in our own database infrastructure and transactional email is delivered through our email provider; the website is served from a global hosting network, so data may be processed outside Hong Kong. Inventor application details are treated as confidential information and reviewed by the Sinospect team. Any disclosure to a factory or supplier is governed by the written confidentiality and disclosure terms agreed for that application; a general inquiry does not itself create an NDA.
Retention
We keep inquiry and application data for as long as needed to handle your request and any engagement that follows, and as required for legal and accounting purposes. If you want something deleted sooner, ask.
Your rights
Under Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), you may make a statutory data access request and request correction of your personal data. A statutory access request should use the Privacy Commissioner’s Data Access Request Form (OPS003). Valid access and correction requests are handled within the statutory timeframes. You may also ask us to delete personal data; separately, we take all practicable steps to erase personal data that is no longer required, subject to applicable legal, accounting, operational, and record-preservation requirements and exceptions. Contact jk@sinospect.com for assistance.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the effective date shown on this page changes with it. Any new use of personal data remains subject to the Ordinance, including obtaining prescribed consent where required.
