For EPC teams, the hardest part of China-sourced equipment is rarely the engineering — it is controlling the gap between the procurement package and what actually happens at the supplier’s factory, several thousand kilometres away. The point is not to take work away from the EPC. What Sinospect does not replace

At what stage should an EPC team bring Sinospect in?
Earlier gives more control, but Sinospect can join at any stage. Pre-award qualification and technical review are where the most risk is removed cheaply — clarifications, inspection requirements and contract conditions can still be set while the EPC has leverage. Sinospect can also be brought in later, for FAT, shipment release or a post-delivery issue.
Can Sinospect support a single stage, or only the full package?
Either. Engagements are commonly scoped to a single stage — a pre-award qualification, a technical review, a FAT, a pre-shipment inspection — or run across the full package from qualification through handover under one arrangement.
What does the EPC team receive?
Written, evidence-based deliverables: qualified shortlists and disqualification logs, clarification and deviation logs, recommended pre-award conditions, witnessed FAT/PSI reports with photo evidence, non-conformity and open-issue logs, release or hold recommendations, and continuity records through commissioning. The deliverables are intended to make each EPC decision defensible — they are recommendations and evidence, not guarantees.
